Stellar currently has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Software Developer / Team Lead to support the Air Force at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH.
 
**This is a “Hybrid” position - working remotely 4 days per week and on-base at WPAFB 1 day per week (Thursdays). On-base core hours are 9am - 3pm**

Job Summary:
The Senior Software Developer will serve as the primary Software Development Team Lead, which involves leading technical development teams in a Java & .NET development environment.

Position Requirements:
  • 6+ years of progressive software development and leadership experience.
  • Proven technical expertise in Java and .NET development, along with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Demonstrable and successful experience leading software development teams and managing the software development process.
  • Cloud Development Frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes, etc).
  • API Architecture, and Redesign / Modernization experience.
  • Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) / Extract Transfer Load (ETL) Framework experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with ability to effectively interact with high-level military & government personnel.
  • Position requires either a Confidential Security Clearance OR have previously passed a Tier I local background check OR have the ability to pass a Tier I local background check.
  • Must possess a current/active IAT II (i.e., Security+) or higher certification.
  • US Citizenship is Mandatory.
Nice to Have: 
  • Any related Industry Certifications would be a plus.
