ASP.NET Web Developer

Job Summary: 

SIS is actively seeking a senior ASP.NET Web Technologist to support material and logistics services for a parts repair systems located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for analysis, programming, and sustainment support in accordance with published change management processes and providing functional expertise in supporting foreign military parts ordering systems. 

Job Duties:

  • Serve as a day-to-day support resource for application users
  • Perform application software programming
  • Perform operational testing of applications
  • Maintain and develop documentation including user guides
  • Work according to a published schedule and provide inputs for scheduling
  • Participate in team meetings, take minutes of decisions, communicate action items, and update documents and artifacts to shared file areas.
  • Create and forward metrics data to management as required.
  • Accountable for complying with Configuration Management policies, security, and procedures.

 

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Understanding of parts ordering for repair activities is required
  • Ability to work toward a deadline
  • Ability to capture requirements and create design documents
  • Strong experience with C#, PL/SQL
  • Skilled in web technologies including XML, Oracle databases, .NET, and Java
  • Javascript a plus
  • Understanding of interfaces between multiple government systems
  • Understanding of standards for web interfaces and system-to-system transactions
  • Understanding of testing methodologies
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong oral and written skills (ability to support documentation, training manuals, status reports, etc.).
  • Dedicated to following and enforcing compliance with DOD and Air Force regulations.

 

Education / Certifications / Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years’ professional experience
  • Master’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret level clearance.
  • Must have and maintain certifications necessary for DOD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II (one of GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)
  • Experience working with DOD foreign military sales is preferred
  • US citizenship is mandatory
